Troop 502 scouts Bradley Kern, Brent Stevens, and JJ Dick (from left to right) experienced The Ordeal May 5-7, as part of their induction into the Order of the Arrow Scouting Honor Society. Here they are posing with Fang, the new mascot for the GLAAC Tuku'ut Lodge. Despite the rain, they completed service projects at Camp Trask, in addition to learning about Native American symbolism in OA. They are now invited to continue with scouting service and brotherhood with the Order of the Arrow Oglala Lakota Chapter. Troop 502 is proud to have these gentlemen represent our Troop.
21 scouts from Troop 502 competed for fame and glory in our “Medieval Knights” Camporee this weekend at Camp Trask. Thanks to the adult leaders who spent the weekend with the scouts, Mr. Snow, Mr. Gilmore and Mr. Lam. Lots of additional pictures in the password-protected photo section.
Six Troop 502 scouts preparing for Philmont hit the 10 mile trail looping through Chantry Flats to Mt. Zion trail and back on April 22, 2017. They were accompanied by ASMs Mr. Ferguson and Mr. Draney.
