Induction of new youth leaders tonight at our Fall Court of Honor, including ASPL's, Patrol Leaders, Instructors, Troop Guides, Den Chiefs, Chaplain Aide, Librarian/Historian and Junior Assistant Scoutmasters. And two new Assistant Scoutmasters! Lots of merit badges, rank advancements and special awards also awarded tonight.
This weekend, the scouts explored the town including a ride on the railroad, panned for gold, toured the Maggie Mine, and ate a lot of fudge and ice cream. After dark we hiked a mile up a rocky path and had a private tour of the first 100’ of the Silver King mine from a local Search & Rescue team. It was a great weekend.
