A big thanks from Jack Gilmore to the below Troop 502 scouts and adults who helped build a bridge for Descanso Gardens as part of Jack’s Eagle Scout Project. It was a great group effort. Thank you to: Andrew Berry, Jackson Berry, Will Boyd, Dylan Fearing, Liam Gausman, Nate Gausman, Alex Gonzalez, Michael Halebian, Brandon Hsu, Ethan Hsu, Bradley Kern, Sang Min Lee, Eliot Rae, Walter Sirof, as well as parents Mr. Gausman, Mr. Gonzalez, Mr. Hsu, Mr. Kern, and Mrs. Sercel.
We will have our Spring Court of Honor this evening. All Scouts should attend and dress is Class A Tuxedo (Class A shirt and shorts/convertibles, Troop Neckerchief, Slide, Merit Badge Sash … if you have one). All parents and family members are welcome! The ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm. In addition to our usual Court of Honor presentations, we will also conduct an Eagle Scout Presentation Ceremony for Nico Godinez, Jiwoo Han, Sang Lee, and Taemin Yoon. During this part of the evening we will award these Scouts with the highest rank in Scouting, Eagle Scout. It’s a very special ceremony and we are very excited to include their Eagle Presentations in our Spring COH. Finally, we will also have our Troop clothing available for sale before and after the COH. If you need Troop 502 Class B t-shirts, now is the time! For Scouts attending Summer Camp with our Troop, Class B shirts are the uniform for the week. Please pick up a few now if you don’t have them.Â
Johnny Calvo successfully passed his Eagle Board of Review on May 29, 2018 and is Troop 502’s newest Eagle Scout!
