Troop 502 is starting a girls' troop!
Now girls can participate in the same program that has developed youth leaders for over 100 years. The girls will go hiking, camping and have other outdoor adventures. They will be able to earn the prestigious Eagle Scout award. Membership is open to all girls ages 11-17.
Consistent with BSA national guidelines, the girls' troop will be a separate troop from the boy's troop, with separate adult leaders, members and programs.. For more information contact Lewis Roberts (lewiscroberts@gmail.com) or Cindy Sercel (sercel@mac.com).
Troop 502 scouts practiced pioneering skills to build an A frame at the troop meeting on Monday. The troop meeting wrapped up with a chariot race.Â
Good job to our scouts who helped change out the emergency food and water supplies at La Canada High School. Eight boy scouts (+ 3 Girl Scouts) moved over 5,000 lbs of emergency food and 5,000 lbs of emergency water. The supplies are in good shape until 2023!Â
